Fresh Green Beans with Chutney

Cookware/Chef’s Tools Needed

  • 4-qt sauce pan (large pot)

Ingredients
Ingredients available at the Party Source are listed in parentheses.

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • Chutney (Patak’s Original Sweet Mango Chutney – aisle 1B)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
(Can be prepared early in the day and refrigerated until ready to serve)

  • In a pot of boiling salted water, cook beans just until crisp tender, about 6 minutes.
  • Drain; plunge into cold water and drain again.
  • Toss green beans with tomato chutney; season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer to a platter; serve.
