Danny Gold’s Wine of the Week

Hahn SLH Pinot Noir-$24.99 California Aisle 6A
Hahn has a reputation amongst wine drinkers especially red as being solid and a safe bet for your money. In fact one of the first Meritage and Cabernet Franc wines I tasted 8 years ago were Hahn wines. They just released late last year with a new series of high quality performers and the buzz is mainly about this Pinot. I had it last night with some Korean marinated Sea Bass and was impressed by it’s delicate touch and well mannered fruit. The wine was medium bodied packed with beautiful berry notes and floral tones.
SCORE: 4
Cheers!

Thanks for the kind words. I work for Hahn on their New Media Marketing and even though I’m not a Pinot Noir girl, this is a pinot I can really envy…I mean, LOVE! You barely touched the surface on how smooth and complex this juice is…but I guess it is just one of those things you have to try. You have a guest appearance on the Hahn Blog site as well. Cheers!

I purchased this past Valentine’s Day for my hubby to be. We were melted away by the dashing bold yet fruity tone pinot. Now if I can only order that every occassion w/out the expensive shipping. BTW I love the photo cards you use to upload on the site for those who like don’t have time for a personal card.
